Sophie Laskar is an animation filmmaker and visual artist based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. She works mostly for punched paper films as a director and producer of independent or commissioned animated short films. She also occasionally teaches animation at the Lucern University of Applied Sciences and Arts (where she earned her B.A.) and at School of Visual Arts B:B in Biel/Bienne.
